Creating a Department

Departments are used to group products for inventory management, reporting, purchases, sales, and GP calculations.

Note:

  • Departments can be created manually or automatically during Product CSV Imports if the Department Name does not already exist in DigiTally.

Steps:

1. Select “Manage”

2. Select “Departments”

3. Select “+ Create Department”

4. Insert New Department Name

5. Select “Save & Close”

6. Repeat steps 3, 4 and 5 if there are additional departments to create
