Note:
The CSV file must follow the required format and column structure for successful import validation.
Invalid formatting or unsupported characters may prevent products from importing correctly.
Steps:
1. Open Excel file
2. Follow the steps below to save the file in CSV format
- Select “File”
- Select “Save As”
- Insert “File Name”
- Select File Type as “CSV UTF-8 (Comma delimited) (*,csv)”
- Select “Browse”
- Select Location to save file
- Select “Save”
3. Insert the following headers in Row 1
- Cell A1 - “Product Description”
- Cell B1 - “Pack Size”
- Cell C1 - “Department Name”
- Cell D1 - “Cost Price” (Must be numeric, Use decimal point (not comma), No text,
no symbols)
- Cell E1 - “Unique ID” (Product Code)
- Cell F1 - “Weight” (enter values in grams with no decimal points)
- Cell G1 – “Supplier”
4. Select “Save” (this can be performed on a regular occasion to ensure your data is
saved)
5. Fill in the relevant information in the correct columns starting from Row 2
6. Do not use any of the following character in the file “&*’@
