Valuation By Item

The Valuation by Item report displays inventory values by product across locations and departments, including product values, department totals, and grand totals. It is used to review stock movement, variances, and valuation changes between audit periods.

Steps:

1. Select “Reports”

2. Select “Valuation by Item”

3. Select relevant “Period” (Audit Date)

4. Review the report data:

- Product Name

- Product Code

- Pack Size

- Unit Cost

- Previous Quantity / Current Quantity / Quantity Difference

- Previous Cost / Current Cost / Cost Difference

5. Review grouped Department Totals

6. Review Grand Totals

7. Use:

- Export to PDF to download a PDF version of the report

- Export to Excel to download the report in Excel forma

Note:

• Products are consolidated across all assigned locations within the selected audit

period.

• The report groups products by department to provide department-level valuation

summaries.

• Grand Totals display the total inventory valuation across all departments and products.

• Large quantity or cost differences may indicate stock variances, transfer issues, or

counting discrepancies.
