Waste Report

The Waste Report displays recorded waste by product, reason, quantity, cost, user, and location for the selected audit period. It is used to monitor product loss, analyse waste trends, and support operational cost control.

Steps:

1. Select “Reports”

2. Select “Waste Report”

3. Select the relevant “Period”

4. Select the relevant “Filter Waste” option

5. Review the report data:

- Waste Details

- Waste Type

- Unit Cost

- Quantity

- Cost

- Full Weight

- Weight in Grams

- Waste Date

- Waste User

- Waste Location

6. Analyse waste trends and product losses

7. Use:

- Export to PDF to download a PDF version of the report

- Export to Excel to download the report in Excel format

Note:

• The report displays all recorded waste entries for the selected audit period.

• Waste Type identifies the reason category assigned during waste entry (e.g. Over Production, Out of Date, Preparation Waste, etc…).

• Waste User identifies the staff member who recorded the waste entry.

• Waste Location identifies where the waste occurred within the business.

• Weight values are displayed to assist with portion control analysis and production

monitoring.

• This report can be used to identify recurring waste patterns, reduce operational losses, and improve inventory control procedures.
