Notifications

The Notifications section allows users to review and manage product-related requests submitted within DigiTally. Notifications can include product creation requests or product updates requiring review or approval. This is permission based.

Users can update request statuses; review submitted information and edit product details directly from the notification window.

Product Notifications

The Product Notifications section displays submitted product requests and product updates awaiting review or approval.

Information Displayed:

  • Store Name

  • Product Name

  • Product Cost

  • Department

  • Requested Date and Time

  • Requested By

  • Status

Status Selector Options:

  • Pending - The request has been submitted and is awaiting review or approval.

  • Approved - The request has been accepted, and the product information will be applied within the system.

  • Rejected - The request has been declined, and no changes will be applied.

Steps:

  1. Select the Notification Bell icon

  2. Review the submitted product requests

  3. Update the Status if required:

    • Pending

    • Approved

    • Rejected

  4. Select the Edit Icon to review or update product details

  5. Update:

    • Product Name

    • Department

    • Cost Price

  6. Select “Save”

Note:

  • Product requests can be reviewed and approved directly from the Notifications section.

  • Updating the status assists with workflow management and approval tracking.

  • Approved product updates may impact inventory valuation and reporting data.
